Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol actor is a huge fan of entertainers.
In preparation for his role as character Stacee Jaxx in upcoming film Rock of Ages, Tom had to croon and put on his dancing shoes for extensive periods of time.
Tom is impressed by people with the stamina to sing and dance.
"You know, dancing... my hat's off to all dancers. I think they're the best athletes in the world, those guys,” Tom told Extra.
"Even singing, I had no idea... I'd do two or three hours singing and I'd go, 'Man, I'm a little tired.'"
Tom consulted rocker Jon Bon Jovi for singing advice during filming.
"I said, 'Man, I'm gonna sing your song,' and [Bon Jovi] just looked at me and said, 'You know what to do.'” Tom recalled.
Although he may not want to train to become a dancer anytime soon, Tom believes that he is in good shape for his age.
“No sleep. Three kids... you gotta go, go, go!"
Rock of Ages will be released in June 2012

چهارمین قسمت از فیلم سینمایی «ماموریت ناممکن» به کارگردانی «براد برد»، با فروش ۶۸ میلیون و ۲۰۰ هزار دلار طی سه روز آخر هفته، مجموع فروش امسال کمپانی هالیوودی پارامونت را به ۳ میلیارد دلار رساند.
این فیلم در ۶ هزار و ۷۹ سالن سینما در سطح جهان به نمایش درآمده که در این میان کره جنوبی با ۱۱ میلیون و یکصد هزار دلار فروش طی چهار روز در این زمینه پیشتاز است.
پس از کره جنوبی، ژاپن با ۹ میلیون دلار طی سه روز و روسیه با ۶ میلیون و یکصد هزار دلار قرار دارد.
فیلم «ماموریت ناممکن» همچنین با ۲ میلیون و ۴۰۰ هزار دلار فروش از ۲۷ سالن سینما در اولین روز اکران خود در ایالات متحده آمریکا، پرفروشترین افتتاحیه تاریخ سینمای این کشور را به خود اختصاص داده است.
این فیلم با بازی «تام کروز» و «آنیل کاپور» همچنین در اولین روز اکران خود در کشور فرانسه ۵ میلیون و ۲۰۰ هزار دلار و در استرالیا ۴ میلیون و ۲۰۰ هزار دلار فروش داشته است.
فیلم به مدت 3 روز در سینماهای 3 بعدی فقط در 425 سینما 13.6 میلیون دلار فروخته است.
همچنین با فروش خوب در هفته اول اکران 3500 سینما در امریکا در صدر ایستاد و فیلم شرلوک هولمز 2 و تن تن را عقب راند با این تفاسیر انتقادات 6 ساله پس از ماموریت 3 به پایان رسید انتقاداتی که همواره ستاره تام کروز را در حال سقوط و خاموشی می پنداشت. فروش این فیلم همواره با تام کروز عجین بوده است. شکست یا موفقیت آن همواره به اسم تام کروز تمام می شده و او یک تنه بار این فیلم را بر دوش می کشد. اکنون با چنین فروشی بار دیگر ثابت شد که تام کروز ستاره جاویدان هالیوود است.
اکران فیلم «ماموریت: غیرممکن-پروتکل شبح» در 21 سپتامبر در جشنواره بینالمللی فیلم دبی آغاز شد. بر اساس گزارش راتن تومیتوز، نویسندگان این کمدی اکشن «جاش آپلباوم» و «آندره نمک» هستند و کارگردانی آن نیز بر عهده «براد بیرد» است.
به گزارش " 1پارس " به نقل از برنا این فیلم سری چهارم از مجموعه فیلمهای اکشن به همین نام بوده و ترکیبی از صحنههای کمدی و اکشن است و کارگردان در جریان فیلم توانسته است بین این 2 ژانر تعادل هنرمندانهای برقرار کند.«پروتکل شبه» مملو از صحنههای انفجار بمب و یا شلیک با اسلحه بوده و این صحنهها با کمدی در هم آمیخته است. فیلمبرداری این فیلم در تاریخ 30 دسامبر سال 2010 آغاز شد و محل تولید آن در دبی، پراگ، مسکو، و بمبئی و نکوور است.
در این فیلم تام کروز، جرمی رنر و سیمون پگ به ایفای نقش میپردازند. تام کروز نقش «اتان هانت» که یک مامور آیاماف است، را بازی میکند. در «پروتکل شبه» بر اثر انفجار بمبی در یک جمله تروریستی مجموعه تاریخی کرملین در پایتخت روسیه نابود میشود.
همزمان با این انفجار اتان هانت برای انجام ماموریتی سری در مسکو به سر میبرد. دولت روسیه این حمله را یک "جنگ اعلامنشده" میخواند و ایالات متحده را ترغیب میکند عملیات سیاهی ملقب به "پروتکل شبه" ترتیب داده و کلیه سازمان «نیروی ماموریتی غیرممکن» را منحل سازد.به هانت و افرادش هم اجازه داده میشود از خاک این کشور بگریزند؛ پس از این فرار ماجراهایی جالب برای آنها به وقوع میپیوندد.

تام کروز، ستاره ی هالیوود این هفته به هند سفر کرده است، او در این باره گفته که همیشه در طول عمرش آرزو داشته که به این کشور سفر کند.
او درباره ی این سفر به یاد ماندنی می گوید، از دیدن سنگ های سفید و مرمرین تاج محل در آگرا بسیار هیجان زده شده است. او روز چهارشنبه برای حضور در مراسم اکران آخرین فیلم اکشن خود “ماموریت غیر ممکن: پروتکل شبح ” به کشور هند سفر کرده است.
کروز در روز یکشنبه در بمبئی برای حضور بر فرش قرمز اکران این فیلم به ستاره ی بالیوودی آنیل کاپور، ملحق خواهد شد. در این فیلم تام کروز همچنان نقش خود را به عنوان مامور مخفی اتان هانت ادامه می دهد، در این فیلم آنیل کاپور در نقش یک سرمایه گذار مشهور هندی بازی کرده است.
تام روز شنبه در گفتگو با مطبوعات هندی گفت: “من در تمام عمرم آرزو داشتم که به کشور هند بیایم ، پس حالا که به اینجا آمده ام، بسیار هیجان زده هستم.”
"آنیل کاپور" بازیگر مشهور بالیوودی در این سفر "تام کروز" را همراهی می کرد. آنها سپس روز یکشنبه در مراسم فرش قرمز چهارمین قسمت از مجموعه «ماموریت غیر ممکن» با نام «ماموریت غیرممکن: پروتوکل روح» که در بمبئی به پا شده بود با هم وارد شدند.

کارگردانی این فیلم برعهده "براد بیرد" بوده است و از بازیگران همراه "تام کروز" و "آنیل کاپور" در این فیلم می توان به "جرمی رنر"، "پائولا پاتون"، "سایمون پگ"، "وینگ ویلکینسون" و"جاش هالووی" اشاره داشت.
به گزارش سینمانگار، بودجه ساخت «پروتوکل روح» $140,000,000 (دلار امریکا) برآورد شده است و ساخت این فیلم در کشورهایی چون هند، امارات متحده عربی، چک و کانادا صورت گرفته است.

به گزارش خبرگزاری پانا به نقل از ورایتی، تریلر اکشن و مهیج «عملیات غیرممکن 4» با نام فرعی «روح پروتوکل» ساخته «براد برد» برنده جایزه اسکار، در تاریخ 7 دسامبر (16 آذر) فیلم افتتاحیه هشتمین دوره جشنواره بین المللی فیلم دبی خواهد بود.
«تام کروز، جرمی رنر،سیمون پگ و پائولو پاتون» از بازیگران مطرح هالیوود هستند که در این فیلم حضور دارند.
«جاش آپلبائوم، آندره نمک و کریستوفر مک کوآیر» نویسندگان این فیلم مشهور هستند.
این فیلم بر اساس یک مجموعه تلویزیونی پرطرفدار ساخته شد که ابتدا در سال 1996 توسط «برایان دی پالما» کارگردانی شد.

In the fourth “M:I” movie, Cruise returns as castoff secret agent Ethan Hunt — the only character he has ever revisited during his decades-long career. The question remains: Will he ever don the Navy jumpsuit again and hop into a cockpit as Maverick?
A little more than a year ago, the Internet went abuzz with rumors about Cruise, director Tony Scott and producer Jerry Bruckheimer reuniting for a potential “Top Gun” sequel. Scott confirmed he would be directing, but Cruise’s involvement remained a mystery.
When Christopher McQuarrie, the writer of “The Usual Suspects” and the man hired to pen the script for “Top Gun 2,” said Maverick would be the lead for the follow-up, all engines seemed go. But then things went quiet. As the major players moved on to other projects — including “One Shot,” directed by McQuarrie and starring Cruise — sequel talk died down.
When Horowitz sat down with Cruise in Dubai, the actor updated the project’s status and shed new light on the script. “I don’t think Chris [McQuarrie] is going to write it,” Cruise said. “Chris is directing ‘One Shot’ right now, which I’m acting. We’ve got to go back in January and finish it.”
With McQuarrie out, that leaves Cruise, Scott and Bruckheimer as the only major players left with the project, but Cruise insists he could still do a sequel.
“I said to Tony I want to make another movie with him. He and I haven’t made a film since ‘Days of Thunder,’ ” Cruise said. “Tony and I and Jerry, we never thought that we would do it again. Then they started to come to us with these ideas of where it is now. I thought, ‘Wow, that would be … what we could do now.’ ”
For Cruise, the two key elements to a sequel would be a worthy script and the freedom to make the movie as they did in 1986. “I hope we can figure this out to go do it again,” he said. “If we can find a story that we all want to do, we all want to make a film that is in the same kind of tone as the other one and shoot it in the same way as we shot ‘Top Gun.’ ”

Tom Cruise stalls the opening night gala screening after an hour-long frenzy on the red carpet.
Tom Cruise wasn’t in Dubai long, but while he was here he made the most of it. Returning to the Emirate after shooting portions of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol in the ultra-modern city last summer, Cruise swept in for the opening night gala of the film at the Dubai International Film Festival.
With an entourage of roughly 30 people in tow, Cruise didn’t have much to say to the throngs of media assembled for his visit, but he had plenty of time for his fans. As fest attendees waited patiently for the Protocol screening to begin, Cruise took his time on the red carpet, signing posters and posing for photos with virtually every fan who asked.
As a result, the screening was nearly two hours late, but no one seemed to care. Prior to the screening Cruise took the stage with Protocol director Brad Bird and co-stars Simon Pegg and Bollywood star Anil Kapoor to thank the Dubai fest organizers and briefly discuss the making of the film, which includes a sequence in which Cruise scales Dubai’s famed Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building.
At a press conference earlier in the day Cruise praised director Bird for having “a cinematic eye that brought the location alive.” Bird heaped praise on his star, adding that Cruise was enthusiastic and meticulous about doing his own stunts, no matter how dangerous. He related how Cruise’s wife, Katie Holmes, with their daughter Suri in tow, visited the set the day Cruise scaled the Burj Khalifa, but was so nervous about the stunt she left after just two takes.
At a lavish party following the screening attendees were treated to live music on the beach of the sprawling Madinat Jumeirah Resort. While most of the Protocol talent left early to attend the film’s Moscow premiere, Bollywood’s Kapoor stayed behind to discuss how much he enjoyed working on the film, especially since it casts his native India in such a positive light.
“I met Tom and he said ‘I want to show India as elegant and colorful,’” he said. “I don’t want to show it as somber or poor – I want to show the colors and elegance.”
Kapoor agreed that the film’s various settings — Moscow, Dubai, Mumbai — will certainly help it at the global box office, and added that collaborations between Hollywood and other major international film sectors like Bollywood will become more common thanks to increased collaboration.
“For me this whole journey isn’t about how big a star I become, it’s about relationships,” he said. “It’s about Bollywood and Hollywood coming together. India is a country that is completely untapped.”
But while Ghost Protocol may simply be the result of a more globalized film world that everyone agrees is inevitable, what’s less obvious is the role the Dubai film fest will play in that process. Less than a decade old and primarily focused on the cinema of the region, the event nevertheless took a giant leap forward in its evolution with the high-profile premiere of Protocol. For fest organizers, the star power that Cruise’s participation offers will hopefully help the region sustain an local film scene that is in its nascent stages now.
Says DIFF managing director Shivani Pandya: “It takes us to another level. This really encourages a lot of filmmakers here. We’re not just looking at attracting big Hollywood films. We want to support our own industry. This is very important to us because we know that if you have your own indigenous industry people take it very seriously.”

MUMBAI – Tom Cruise rounded off his two-day India visit Sunday night with a red carpet screening of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, held at an IMAX cinema in Mumbai.
Arriving in a motorcade of BMWs branded with the Ghost Protocol logo, Cruise – clad in a blue shirt and jeans — was greeted by screaming fans, with whom he spent almost two hours in between talking to the media.
“I love watching Hindi movies. There are many Hindi movies that come out every year but I do watch a few of them. (If offered a Bollywood film) I would never say no. I would love to do it,”actor told reporters.
Ghost Protocol will release in India on Dec. 16 – including dubbed versions in Hindi and regional languages — distributed by Viacom18 Motion Pictures. Viacom18 is also promoting its upcoming Bollywood title Players, an adaptation of The Italian Job, directed by the brothers Abbas-Mastan and starring actors Abhishek Bachchan and Neil Nitin Mukesh and actresses Sonam Kapoor and Bipasha Basu.
Cruise posed with the Players cast on the red carpet for a Hollywood-meets-Bollywood moment drowned in a blaze of frenzied media flashbulbs.
Ghost Protocol also features a brief cameo by top Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor, who accompanied Cruise throughout his India tour, including Saturday’s fleeting visit to the Taj Mahal.
Kapoor hosted an exclusive party Saturday night at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai, where the handpicked 150-odd invitees included Bollywood celebrities such as superstar actor Aamir Khan, actresses Preity Zinta and Sonam Kapoor (Anil’s daughter), directors Shekhar Kapur, Farhan Akhtar and Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty (Slumdog Millionaire).
“What a gracious host Anil is & OMG! Tom used to be my heart throb in Top Gun!” tweeted Zinta. “Tom Cruise asked me why I was not making Mr India 2? A set up by Anil Kapoor I am sure,” tweeted Kapur.
Anil Kapoor’s upcoming projects include an Indian version of the hit Fox TV show 24 (in which he starred during its final season). When asked if Kapoor picked up any tips from Cruise’s Ethan Hunt for his turn as the Indian Jack Bauer, the 51-year-old actor said, “Of course, being in Ghost Protocol was an experience in itself and I am sure there is something I can learn from Ethan Hunt.”
The Ghost Protocol screening was also graced by the film’s director Brad Bird and actress Paula Patton, who greeted everyone with the traditional Indian “namaste.”
“I have some idea of Bollywood films thanks to Anil Kapoor and I would love to work with (superstar actress and former Miss World) Aishwarya Rai,” Patton said.
Cruise was also entertained by a brief dance performance by top Bollywood choreographer Shiamak Davar’s troupe just before Ghost Protocol screened for the 1,500 guests and fans.
Ghost Protocol will see its world premiere Wednesday at the Dubai Film Festival, for which Cruise left
Mumbai Sunday night.

According to Variety and our own sources, it looks as if Tom will be the star of Warner Brothers’ ‘All You Need Is Kill’ to be directed by Doug Liman.
Liman visited Tom on the Pittsburgh set of his current film ‘One Shot’ to discuss the script which was written by Dante Harper. The rewrite was done by Joby Harold. Tom loved the script and although a contract with Warners hasn’t been officially signed yet, Tom is ready, willing and able to make the film. The script will have to be tweaked slightly to reflect a more seasoned actor, but otherwise it’s “perfect”, we’re told by those who have read it.
The film is a futuristic alien-invasion thriller which places a soldier (Tom) into battle against an alien species. The soldier is killed in action, but is reborn each day to suffer the same fate. Eventually, he notices that he’s becoming a better warrior and that other circumstances are changing, which might be the key to altering the outcome.
As it looks at the moment, after his promotional duties for Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol are finished right before Christmas, Tom will complete ‘One Shot’ and then move on to Universal’s ‘Oblivion’ in March. ‘All You Need Is Kill’ is tentatively scheduled to start filming sometime in late summer or early fall (2012). In addition, Tom has ‘Rock of Ages’ coming out in June.

با وجود شایعههای اخیر، نقش اصلی فیلم «ما میرا هستیم» را تام كروز به جای براد پیت ایفا میكند.
به گزارش ایسنا، كمپانی فیلمسازی «برادران وارنر» اعلام كرد تام كروز، بازیگر پرآوازهی هالیوودی، نقش اصلی فیلم «ما میرا هستیم» را بر عهده گرفته است.
پیش از این شایعه شده بود كه براد پیت، دیگر ستارهی دنیای سینما، قرار است در این نقش ظاهر شود. عنوان اولیه این فیلم «كشتن تمام چیزی است كه میخواهی» بود كه به تازگی تغییر كرده است.
تهیهكنندهای ناشناس دربارهی انتخاب كروز گفت: «استودیوها دوباره به همكاری با او علاقهمند شدهاند.»
«ما میرا هستیم» توسط «دوگ لیمان»، كارگردان شناختهشدهی سینما، ساخته میشود.
«دوگ لیمان» خالق آثارى چون«خانم و آقاى اسمیت» و «هویت بورن» پروژه سینمایى كارگردانی این پروژه را به سفارش استودیوی برادران وارنر انجام می دهد.
فیلم «ما میرا هستیم»یك اثر اقتباسی خواهد بود كه فیلمنامه آن توسط «دانته هارپر» و با نگاهی به رمان تخیلی «هیروشی ساكورازاكا» ژاپنی نوشته شده است .
بنابر این گزارش، در بخشی از این رمان كه در ژانری علمی ـ تخیلی نوشته شده است، به هجوم بیگانگانی به نام «گیتامی» میپردازد و شخصی به نام «كی جی كایریا» با آنها به مبارزه میپردازد.
این شخص پس از نزاع با «گیتامیها» كشته و هر روز مجددا متولد می شود تا برای مبارزه با این بیگانگان به صحنه نزاع برود و سرنوشت خود را تغییر دهد.
به گزارش هالیوود ریپورتر، تاریخ اكران این پروژهی سینمایی سال 2013 اعلام شده است.

Tom Cruise risked life and limb filming action sequences at the top of the world’s tallest building for “Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol,” but he said that wasn’t any scarier than the singing required for his first musical, the just-wrapped “Rock of Ages.”
“They all have their risks,” Cruise said with a laugh of playing rocker Stacee Jaxx in Adam Shankman’s adaptation of the Tony-winning 2006 musical, which featured songs by jukebox heroes such as Bon Jovi, Styx, Journey and Pat Benatar. Among the tunes Cruise belts out in the film: “Pour Some Sugar on Me.”
Shankman is coming off the foot-tapping success of “Hairspray,” while Cruise, inspired by his dance-loving wife, Katie Holmes, is taking a true genre gamble even as he celebrates the 30th anniversary of his first screen appearances (“Endless Love” and “Taps” both came out in 1981). The action star said Holmes’ influence is also why he added some memorable dance-floor moves to his Hollywood agent performance in “Tropic Thunder.”
“I had started dancing because I was inspired by my wife. She kept saying, ‘You’ve got to do a musical sometime,’ ” Cruise said. “Kate’s a dancer, so she would say, ‘Let’s go to dance class,’ and she would take us and that’s how I kind of came up with the idea of Les Grossman doing hip-hop. And then to take it to this level with this? It was really fun.”Shankman has said Cruise is a natural and has music in his genes thanks to an opera singer in his family tree. The filmmaker has shown a flair for the unexpected: Shankman pulled a signature performance from John Travolta in his gender-flipped role in “Hairspray.” So perhaps “Rock of Ages” will be one of Cruise’s acclaimed “experiment” roles, such as in “Magnolia,” “Collateral” or the aforementioned “Tropic Thunder” — even if the sight of the bare-chested, long-maned Cruise as Jaxx has already been jeered across the Internet.
The actor said he’s just pumped to be working with Shankman.
“He’s on fire,” Cruise said. “What he accomplished with ‘Hairspray’ was amazing. My daughter has seen it 15 times and our whole family has watched it over and over and it’s just enormously entertaining. To be able to hold that tone throughout is really something.”
The cast of “Rock of Ages” also includes Diego Boneta, Julianne Hough, Russell Brand, Alec Baldwin, Mary J. Blige and Catherine Zeta-Jones, and much of the heavy lifting for the shoot was done in South Florida. Cruise said his singing and dancing work there was a different challenge than his “Mission: Impossible” job swinging out windows atop the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, but in some ways more stressful.
“I was working on it when I was finishing ‘Mission’ and I was singing five hours a day and I was dancing five hours a day,” Cruise said. “Adam said, ‘Look, we’re going to have a lot of fun,’ and we really did…. Waving his arms, hunching over and making high-decibel sound effects, the writer-director was a one-man cartoon as he unspooled a story about working on the “Ratatouille” recording sessions with Peter O’Toole. It was a good story but one suspects Bird will walk away from his new project, “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,” with far more exotic memories.
The fourth film in the “Mission” franchise, with Tom Cruise back as super-spy Ethan Hunt, opens everywhere on Dec. 21 and, five days before that, it will get a special early run at IMAX and select prestige theaters. It was Bird who pushed hard for that early giant-screen plan — he is, quite literally, thinking big for this key career moment. But don’t think for a minute that he’s sour on his cartoon past.
“I’m not like some animation directors and like, ‘Thank God I’m out of animation and sitting at the adult’s table, I’m tired of sitting at the kid’s table,’” Bird said with a mock, raspy anger. “I have other ideas I’d love to do in animation. My ideal career from here would be to jump back and forth and let the project dictate what medium I work in. To me it’s all storytelling.”
The story this time starts in Russia where the Kremlin is bombed and the blame is put on Hunt and his three IMF teammates (portrayed by Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg and Paula Patton), who must embark on a perilous globetrotting mission to get to the true villains. Shooting a Paramount Pictures tentpole in Dubai; Prague, Czech Republic; Moscow; Mumbai, India; and Vancouver, Canada, shows how much ground Bird has covered since his drawing-table days. The 54-year-old Montana native started his career as an animator with early credits like “Animalympics” in 1980 (produced, by the way, by “Tron” writer-director Steven Lisberger) and Disney’s “The Fox and the Hound” a year later.

آدام شنکمن کارگردان فیلم سینمایی «راک دوران» روز جمعه در توئیتر اولین عکس تام کروز در این فیلم را منتشر کرد...
به گزارش دنیای سینما, کروز در این فیلم نقش استیسی جاکس یک موزیسین راک پا به سن گذاشته را بازی میکند که مدتهاست با دوران اوج فاصله گرفته است.
آدام شنکمن درباره شخصیت جاکس در فیلم «راک دوران» به یواسای تودی، گفت: «او عناصری از اکسل رز، کیت ریچاردز و برت مایکلز را دارد. ما برای به تصویر کشیدن این شخصیت تحقیقات زیادی درباره موزیسینهای راک انجام دادیم.»
پل جیاماتی، راسل برند، الک بالدوین و کاترین زیتا-جونز دیگر بازیگران فیلم «راک دوران» هستند که تابستان سال بعد اکران میشود.

دیلی میل نوشت: شاید باورتان نشود که بینی وین رونی فوتبالیست معروف انگلیسی از جذابترین نوع بینی ها (snub ضخیم و کوتاه) در این کشور محسوب می شود. در اولین نظرسنجی جهانی درباره انواع بینی ها 14 نوع مختلف شناسایی شده و برای فهمیدن ویژگی های آن با بینی افراد معروف مقایسه و شبیه سازی شده است.
بینی با لبه های راست یا بینی نقاشی شده، بینی متعلق به پرنسس کمبریج یعنی ملکه بعدی انگلیس - کیت- است که مورد علاقه هنرمندان و زیبا دوستان بوده و در نوع خود جذاب و بی نظیر محسوب می شود. پروفسور آبراهام تامیر با مطالعه و تصویر برداری از 1300 نفر با بینی های مختلف توانسته اولین تحقیق رسمی و اکادمیک را در مورد انواع بینی ها در جهان انجام دهد.
وی بینی ها را از نوع "گوشتی" تا نوع "آسمانی" طبقه بندی کرده است. عام ترین بینی در بین مردان در تقسیم بندی انجام شده توسط پروفسور آبراهام تامیر بینی گوشتی است. ( البته این بینی در ایران معروف به بینی نوک عقابی است) که سمبل بینی مطالعه شده بینی پرنس فیلیپ شوهر ملکه الیزابت است که گفته می شود بینی یک چهارم از 1300 فرد بررسی شده مانند بینی پرنس فیلیپ بوده است.
پروفسور آبراهام که مقاله اش در مجله جراحی کرانیو چاپ شده ویژگی هایی مانند سخاوتمند بودن، عاطفی ،کمک کننده و حساس بودن را از جمله ویژگیهای افراد مورد مطالعه با بینی های گوشتی دانسته است. اما در این تحقیق این واقعیت نیز نمود یافته که دارنده بینی های گوشتی و یا مدل شاهینی (Hawk) که باربارا استریسند نمونه آن است، چندان بینی های جذابی نیستند.
9 درصد از تحقیق شوندگان بینی موسوم به بینی رومی (تام کروز) دارند. جاه طلبی، شجاعت و روشنفکری در افراد با بینی رومی بیشتر از بقیه دیده می شود.
سه درصد از تحقیق شوندگان همچنین دارای بینی موسوم به کلاسیک یا یونانی بودند که در این بین بینی فابرگاس بازیگر آرسنال در این دسته جای گرفته است.
پروفسور آبراهام بینی دانیل رادکلیف بازیگر هری پاتر را بعنوان بینی عقابی تعریف کرده است که 9 درصد از پرسش شوندگان دارای چنین دماغی بوده اند. فرد جنگجو و نیز متخصص امور بیزینس دارای چنین بینی هایی هستند.
بینی های آسمانی که 13 درصد دارای چنین بینی هایی هستند از جمله بینی های متعلق به بازیگران خوش نقش مانند کری مولیگان است.
از هر 25 نفر یک نفر نیز مانند لنین دارای بینی گسترده با سوراخهای بزرگ بودند.
از هر 200 نفر نیز یک نفر دارای دماغ نوک منقاری است که لئو مک کرن از جمله این افراد است.(یک زمانی در تهران این نوع بینی موسوم به بینی کوفته ای- سالکی بود.)
بینی پوزه دراز نیز کمیاب بوده و نمونه این بینی را می توان روی تصاویری از صورت نیکسون رییس جمهور فقید امریکا دید. دماغ پالمر تامکینسون در این تحقیق فقط یک نمونه بوده که این نکته نیز جالب توجه بود. بینی هری ردنپ فوتبالیست معروف انگلیسی نیز که از هر 50 نفر یکی دارای چنین بینی است، قابل توجه در این تحقیق بوده است.
سیمون ویتنی از جراحان زیبایی می گوید نتایج بدست آمده که اغلب روی بینی اروپایی ها مصداق دارد، با آنچه در دیگر نقاط جهان روی صورت افراد مختلف وجود دارد، متفاوت است و آن طوری نیست که پروفسور آبراهام گفته است. وی افزود بسیاری مدل بینی آنجلینا جولی را دوست دارند اما در لیست آبراهام نیست!
به گفته وی بینی مستقیم و سر راست در نظر مردان بینی جذابی محسوب می شود و در دید عموم بینی گوشتی خیلی محبوبیت ندارد

تام کروز در سالهای دبیرستان در فیلم موزیکالی از طرف مدرسه شرکت کرد و مورد تحسین قرار گرفت. همین مساله باعث شد وی به بازیگری بطور جدی علاقه مند شود. نخستین بازی جدی وی، تنها یک سال پس از به پایان دوره دبیرستان، در فیلم «عشق بی پایان» به سال ۱۹۸۱ اتفاق افتاد. تا سال ۱۹۸۶ در چندین فیلم بازی کرد که چندان شهرتی برایش نداشت. اما در این سال وی به عنوان بازیگر اصلی فیلم تاپ گان برگزیده شد. او یکبار با میمی راجرز بازیگر امریکایی و بار دیگر با نیکول کیدمن بازیگر استرالیایی ازدواج کرد که او را بیشتر به شهرت رساند.

این بار برای فیلم شماره ۴ ماموریت غیر ممکن بزرگترین ساختمان جهان را محلی برای نمایش تواناییهای خود در نظر گرفته است.
تام که به عنوان شجاع ترین بازیگران هالیوود خود بدلکاریها را انجام می دهد اینبار شجاعتش را در انجام این امر در بالای بلندترین ساخته دست بشر مورد محک قرار داد.
او در بالای این ساختمان به انجام بدلکاریهایی هولناک پرداخت سپس در آخرین صحنه در بالاتربن نقطه ان قرار گرفت تا به کمک هلی کوپتر از او فیلم سه بعدی تهیه گردد.
شاید او تنها ابر ستاره ای باشد که قادر به انجام این کار می باشد و لحظاتی خاطره انگیز را در بالای آن رقم زد.
ساخت برج خلیفه در سال ۲۰۰۴ آغاز و در ۲۰۰۹ به پایان رسید
ارتفاع آن ۸۲۸ متر و ۱۶۰ طبقه دارد.
